It's CARDIO day! Cardio during pregnancy strengthens your heart and improves circulation, helping deliver more oxygen and nutrients to both you and your baby. It supports healthy weight gain, balances blood sugar, and lowers the risk of gestational diabetes and preeclampsia. Regular movement also boosts mood, reduces stress, improves sleep, and builds stamina for labor and recovery - all while promoting your baby’s heart and overall development.
Cardio Options:
🏃🏽♀️ Walking: indoors or outdoors!
🏃🏽♀️ Stationary cycling: to maximize that quad burn!
🏃🏽♀️ Swimming: great for the joints!
🏃🏽♀️ Low-impact cardio routines: we've got lots of options here on the app - walk from home, dance cardio, and more.
Aim for 20 minutes of activity (but of course, adjust this to how you are feeling... something is always better than nothing)!
